When your rolls arrive with 6” cores and they should have been wound on 3” cores, SOS has an easy and cost effective solution to a huge problem. Our custom core adapters are inserted hydraulically and lock into the fiber core to prevent spin-out allowing the new 3" core roll to be run at full press speed. In addition, the design and material composition of the core adapters protects the end chucks. This specialized
service is performed on-site, and our crew can be scheduled to
perform the service while the rolls are on press.
